CIA University (CIAU) is looking for educators with experience stewarding the development and delivering of curricula, using online, face-to-face, and blended learning environments. Experience in creating products for course management systems such as Moodle or Blackboard is a plus.
Your work improves the knowledge and skills of officers carrying out extraordinary tasks in service to our nation. You work alongside seasoned intelligence professionals with depth of knowledge in a range of topics, including specific geographic regions, proliferation, and terrorism.

Incumbents may serve as a Contracting Officer's Technical Representative (COTR) responsible for a range of contracting activities in coordination with the contracting officer.
These positions require a 5-year contract term employment agreement.
Minimum requirements include a bachelor or master's degree in instructional design, instructional technology, education or a related field. Experienced candidates should have a minimum of two years work experience in adult education in the classroom, online, and in blended environments and, thus, practical knowledge in teaching adults. They recognize how technology enables learning and are dedicated to keeping up with innovations, research, theories, technologies, and trends in the education field. Experience in rapid prototyping, iterative design, or in other practices that streamline development processes is desired.
Successful candidates have excellent interpersonal skills, experiment with new learning techniques and technologies, and seize new opportunities for enhancing learning. They must be able to juggle multiple projects, prioritize competing demands and work independently and interdependently.
Candidates identify client needs; create assessment instruments; and design, develop, and deliver appropriate learning solutions. They collaborate with multimedia developers, instructional technologists, instructional designers, and video production experts to translate learning requirements into effective computer-mediated, blended, and classroom-based programs. They represent the capabilities of the staff in client briefings and seek opportunities to build strong client relationships.
