Job Title:  Senior Card Services Specialist

Hours:   Monday through Friday from 9:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. and rotating Saturdays 8:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. based on business needs.

Job Scope/Duties

Provide support and resolution for Card Services related products, services and processes. Process card related requests including but not limited to card ordering, activations, blocks, instant issue and rewards redemptions, troubleshooting and adjustments. Respond to and resolve complex card and technical issues using appropriate resources. Assist with credit card loan maintenance requests including but not limited to loan adjustments, statement cycle updates, automatic payment updates, payment research and other account updates as necessary. Manage cardholder dispute cases from chargeback through arbitration using proprietary software. Audit department work to ensure accuracy and compliance. Create and/or update department procedures and additional department reports. Complete additional projects and assignments as needed based on business volume.


 Experience/Minimum Education Requirements

Requires four to six years of current and related financial services experience preferably in a credit union. Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Accounting, Finance or the equivalent level of education and experience


Knowledge of practices, procedures, regulations, and standard accounting necessary to perform financial institution responsibilities. In depth understanding of Visa Operating Regulations, Regulation E, Regulation Z, industry trends and best practices. Must have excellent verbal and written communication skills and the ability to work with minimal supervision in a fast-paced environment. Detail oriented, flexible team player with excellent analytical, critical thinking, and member service skills. Ability to multi-task, prioritize job duties, complete processing work timely while also assisting members and staff through the department hotline. Strong working knowledge of personal computers and Microsoft Office software applications. Knowledge of Visa DPS, Fiserv, XP2 and COOP preferred.
